Friday morning we set out from Bluff for a hundred mile drive to beautiful Moab, UT. Moab is surrounded by two national parks, Canyonlands and Arches, and one state park, Dead Horse State Park. This is the third year we have come to Moab and we’ll be here for a month this visit, giving us plenty of time for exploration.
The drive north on Rte. 191 provides some spectacular scenery as it wind along with snow covered mountains always in view.
We have a beautiful site in Portal RV Park, which will be our home for the next month.
The saguaros are gone, but this is the land of red rocks and stone arches so look for
a million many pictures of rocks and arches in future blogs!
More on that later . . .
