Enjoying East Tennessee

We are currently spending a week at a Discovery Owners rally (we live in a Discovery) in Sevierville, Tn.

One of my former colleagues at Susquehannock HS spent her high school days in Sevierville and is the second most famous former resident (who is the most famous?).  Let’s see if she is reading this blog and is able to recognize the photo below.  Maybe she’ll even ID herself with a comment.

There must be something very valuable on this high school campus as it is surrounded by a fence and you have to get past the guard house to get in.

The “guard house” is just behind the nature sign.  We didn’t try to gain access to the campus as, after all those years spent in school buildings, who wants to drive through a high school parking lot if you don’t have to!

But we are enjoying our stay in this beautiful area at the base of the Great Smoky Mountains.  More will follow later.

    JW-
Did you happen to go through my old stompin’ grounds in Johnson City, TN. WJHL, the TV station I worked for in that area is located in downtown JC.

    Hope all is going well.
